George Mac Kinnon was my math tutor while studying for the Graduate Record Exam. As a UCLA graduate, it was imperative that I score well on that test in order to be admitted to a graduate studies program. I was impressed with George's extensive preparation prior to our tutoring sessions, which included working out the solutions to problems that I had difficulty with before we met. This resulted in time well spent during our tutoring session and a smoother, more effective lesson. As a result, my score on the GRE improved by more than 200 points, which was more than enough to be admitted to a graduate studies program. It was also more than I was able to achieve through the Kaplan GRE prep program and others that I tried, combined.
